1181 Candles Lit Up on Imam El-Mehdy’s (May Allah Hasten His Return) Birth Anniversary

On the birth anniversary of Imam El-Mehdy (May Allah Hasten His Return), and sponsored by the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines, the 15th Candle Festival was held in El-Mahdy sanctuary on 1st of June 2015.
The festival was begun with reciting verses of the Noble Quran, followed by a speech of the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines.
The holy shrines called people to observe such day. Also, 1181 candle were lit up according to the age of the Awaited Imam El-Mendy (May Allah Hasten His Return).
