20000 acres to be cultivated  

The Agricultural Development Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has purchased pieces of land at the boundaries of the holy city of Kerbala, where 20000 acres of them have been prepared to be cultivated.

There are some other agricultural projects that the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has been working on because they represent a significant resource nowadays towards achieving self-sufficiency.
