Antiquities found near Imam Hussain Shrine

Approximately 36 antiquities have been found in the excavations of the Zainebian Sanctuary project near the Imam Hussain Shrine.
The curator of Imam Hussain museum, Ela’ Dheya-EdDeen, said, “The antiquities include earthen jars, cooking utensils, and pots – they were found in a seven-meter old well, which had been used by inhabitants of the area around the Imam Hussain Shrine.”
He added that the museum gave the antiquities to the Iraqi museum for evaluation and registration.
