El-Kerbela'e: Escape of group of inmates from prison is breach of peace

 

July 26, 2013. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, his eminence Sheikh Abdul Mehdi El-Kerbala'i, mentioned that the escape of approximately 500-1000 as it is said, or authentically 600 of prisoners in a violent prison break considered a breach of peace. His eminence mentioned that such an event must be under a deep investigation in order to realize the causes and weak points.

He also mentioned that the prison attack had already been revealed, and no strict measures had been taken, and that would directly be ascribed to the connivance of the parliaments towards terrorism.

He also called the parliaments for strengthening the security forces as soon as possible and attempting to fill up all the cavities that the terrorists might use, because such an event might affect citizens psychologically.

His eminence concluded by mentioning that parliaments are preoccupied with passing the budget which they had it passed; which included expenditures of delegacies and purchasing bicycles whereas many laws are suspended.
