Basrah University witnessed a ceremony for raising "O Hussein" black banner on the occasion of Moharram month.
A stately ceremony held for raising the banner in the university. Raising "O Hussein" banners in the Iraqi Universities is a program held by the Youth Care Center of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
The president of the university Mr. Thamir El-Hemdani, said, " Basrah University has been honored to have "O Hussein" banner fluttering over its campus."
