Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) Banner Change Ceremony

On the night before the first day of Muharram, Sayyed Afthal El-Shami, the Secretary General Assistant of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine along with the rest of the pilgrims participates in the banner-change ceremony. A black banner representing grief and sorrow replaced the red banner over the dome of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
