Iraqi Citizens Flock into Kerbala Complying with Jihad

In compliance with the recent ruling of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatullah Ali Es-Seestany, which calls for a national stance against the militant group ISIS, a tremendous number of Iraqi citizens flocked into the city of Kerbala, to assist the Iraqi army in defeating the terrorists.
The Iraqi citizens pledged allegiance to Imam Hussein and El-Abbas (Peace Be Upon Them) to defend Iraq and its holy shrines. They stated they were unafraid and encouraged the government to allow them to enlist as soon as possible.
