People of Kerbala Holy City have replaced the (O Hussein) red color with a black color banner. A post raises the (O Hussein) is approximately 700 meters away from the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
People gathering said that such a banner represented many meanings for them, and one of the meanings is that it represents pledging allegiance to the Awaited Imam El-Mehdi, (May Allah hasten his reappearance). They also said that the banner would remain narrating how Imam Hussein (PBUH) fought injustice and supported justice and the poor.
