In consideration of Iraq's lack of hospitals specialized in heart surgeries, Imam Zainul-Abedeen (Peace Be Upon Him) Hospital of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine announced its readiness
to begin to perform open-heart surgeries within a month.
Professional groups of doctors have been prepared from different countries to perform such surgeries and train Iraqi doctors at the hospital.
