Over half of million patients treated, cost over million dollars

Recent statistics issued by Imam Zainul-Abedeen Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Shrine, in 2018, showed that the hospital has treated over half of a million patients. 

Mustafa ElMoseawei, director of the department’s media, said, “The hospital has treated over half of a million patients, 1106 patients only during the last 8 months, which cost over a million dollars.”

He added that the hospital performs various surgeries, such as back and hip joint replacements, congenital heart diseases, and congenital joint dislocations.
