Preparations being made for coming Ashura and Arbaeen pilgrimages

The Department of Hussainian Liturgy and Processions of the Imam Hussain and Abbas Shrines has held a meeting for the coming month of Muharram and Arba’een pilgrimage.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Iraqi forces and heads of Hussainian processions from all over Iraq.

The director of the department, Reyadh Ni’meh EsSelman, said the meeting aims to improve the way the Arba’een pilgrimage is held, especially it is now attracting people from all over the world.

EsSelman added that last year 10714 Hussainian processions attended the pilgrimage from 25 countries.
