Adorers of Ahlul-Bayt (PBUT) commemorated the tragic anniversary of Ashura in many states of America.
They offered some rituals such as holding narrative, mourning sessions about the tragedy of Imam Hussein and his family (PBUT). The focus of that commemoration was also to promulgate the human principles that Imam Hussein attempted to spread throughout the world, especially such principles concern the peoples' freedom.
The states commemorated the day of Ashura were Michigan, New York, Detroit, Washington, and some others.
